ACTIVITIES

Earth Guards Foundation is a non-profit Organization registered in Egypt under the number 1221-10 -11-2024.

The Foundation is dedicated to achieving sustainable development goals and raising awareness across all segments of society about sustainable development and how it can be accomplished. This mission is carried out through a variety of activities, including:

Establishing women’s clubs, vocational training centers, and family-based production units

Launching social clubs and organizing cultural and scientific excursions to promote sustainability awareness

Reinforcing Egypt’s leadership in sustainable development within the Arab and African regions

Strengthening ties among peoples—particularly within the Arab region—to foster long-term sustainable partnerships

Organizing promotional campaigns and awareness events across social media platforms and through in-person engagement

Publishing printed and digital materials to raise public awareness about the importance of sustainable development

Organizing seminars and lectures to raise awareness of human rights in the context of sustainable development

Establishing nurseries, libraries, kids’ clubs, and playgrounds that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Earth Guards Foundation adopts a comprehensive policy aimed at maximizing impact in achieving SDGs and raising awareness across all segments of society. This strategy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change can only be achieved through action across three key pillars:

CONTRIBUTIONS

EARTH GUARDS AWARD

This award is presented to leading private sector institutions that have successfully achieved the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across various industrial and service sectors. It reflects the Foundation’s belief in the pivotal role of the private sector and the importance of fostering its active engagement in sustainable development. The award is granted following a thorough evaluation of each company’s sustainability report and is officially presented by a relevant government minister.

Merit Award

Presented to distinguished state figures and decision-makers who have made exceptional contributions and demonstrated outstanding efforts in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in alignment with Egypt’s national agenda, Egypt Vision 2030. Through the Merit Award, the Foundation recognizes the critical role of the public sector in achieving sustainable development.

Sustainable Development Pioneers (SDPs) Award

This distinction celebrates exceptional leaders whose outstanding, sustainability-centered accomplishments leave a lasting global imprint and propel the world toward a more resilient and sustainable future

 

Scientific Research Award

According to a protocol with Cairo University, this award is granted to pioneering research and discoveries with practical applications that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The award aims to inspire brilliant minds—scientists and researchers—to intensify their efforts in leveraging scientific research to drive sustainable progress.

EARTH GUARDS Magazine

Recognizing the importance of showcasing efforts toward achieving sustainable development—and the powerful role such visibility plays in inspiring both individuals and institutions—Earth Guards Foundation launched Earth Guards Magazine: the first science-based news magazine dedicated to sustainability. Published in both Arabic and English, the magazine features leading scientific research in sustainability, outstanding practices by individuals and organizations, the latest trends in sustainable industries, and updates on relevant laws and regulations.

Noah Character

Created by the Earth Guards creative team, Noah is a cartoon character designed to spark children’s curiosity—and inspire adults—about sustainable development in a fun and approachable way. Through lighthearted everyday scenarios, Noah introduces key environmental and social concepts, helping to promote sustainability values from an early age. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to guiding future generations toward a strong sense of responsibility for the planet and society.

?What Does it Mean

This series of 30-second educational videos aims to simplify and explain essential concepts in sustainable development and environmental awareness. Crafted to be both engaging and easy to understand, it focuses on reaching underserved communities with limited access to education, turning complex ideas into clear, relatable content that informs and inspires.

Sustain It - Awareness Episodes

A series of videos that seek to integrate sustainability topics—including the ١٧ Sustainable Development Goals—into religious discourse, with the aim of cultivating a collective consciousness that honors national progress and long-term sustainability. The series encourages individuals to reflect on and refine their behaviors and habits based on ethical and spiritual principles. Delivered by prominent religious, academic, and scholarly figures, the content is presented in an accessible style, drawing on the Holy Quran, the noble Sunnah, and the Prophet’s biography and teachings to derive sustainable guidance and adapt it to contemporary life.

What Is...? Informative Series

An online series of informative articles that introduces key terms and concepts related to sustainable development. Written in clear and accessible language, the content is tailored to a broad audience—including readers with intermediate to advanced levels of education and cultural awareness—making complex topics understandable and engaging.
