The new electric bus “Nasr EV”

Within the framework of supporting thesustainable transportation systemand enhancing the state’s direction towards the transition to a green economy, Al-Nasr Automotive Company, affiliated with the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, announced that the new electric bus model “Nasr EV”, scheduled to be produced soon, will enter the experimental service to transport visitors to the Giza Pyramids area.

The “Nasr EV” bus is one of the latest models of environmentally friendly transportation, as it runs entirely on electric power without any carbon emissions, which contributes to preserving the environment and reducing pollution, especially in archaeological areas. The bus is characterized by a high level of luxury and comfort for passengers, in addition to being equipped with integrated safety and monitoring systems that include internal and external cameras, ensuring the highest standards of safety during operation.

Meeting the market’s needs for sustainable means of transportation

In addition, the “Nasr EV” bus joins a group of products offered by the company, including the “Nasr Sky” tourist bus and the “Nasr Star” minibus, which reflects the diversity of “Al Nasr Automotive’s” product portfolio and its orientation towards meeting the market’s needs for sustainable and modern means of transportation.

Al-Nasr Automotive Company also confirmed that the electric bus production lines are currently being completed, in preparation for the start of production in accordance with the latest international standards of quality and technology, in a way that supports plans to expand local manufacturing and deepen the national industry, reduce dependence on imports, and enhance the competitiveness of local products. This comes in line with the ninth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) concerned with industry, innovation and infrastructure, in addition to supporting the path of sustainable economic growth.

Based on the above, the entry of the “Nasr EV” bus into experimental service represents a practical model for transforming Egypt’s vision towards sustainable transportation into a tangible reality, combining environmental preservation and enhancing the quality of tourism services.
