The state is making great efforts and is proceeding steadily in the process of development and construction in all sectors, especially the vital sectors whose scope is expanding to include all Egyptians, such as the health and education sector.
Under the generous patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the activities of the sixth annual forum of the General Authority for Health Care will be launched on Wednesday, November 26, under the slogan “From Vision to Expansion”, within the framework of the vision adopted by the government to advancehealth care services and coinciding with the entry into the new phase of comprehensive health insurance and its expansion to include six governorates. This expansion is a major step in the process of implementing the comprehensive health insurance system, through developing an integrated health model aimed at raising the efficiency of services, improving their quality, and achieving their sustainability at the level of the Republic.
Triple Balance: Health, Finance, Sustainability
The forum’s activities include a session entitled “Triple Balance: Health, Finance, Sustainability,” in which senior leaders, decision makers, and health financing experts participate to discuss innovative strategies that ensure the ability of the comprehensive health insurance system to continue and have the flexibility necessary to face economic challenges.

The session focuses on three main axes covering all aspects of the system to outline the features of the road map for the future of health care in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
These axes are:
- Strategic vision: Reviewing investment mechanisms in the health system to ensure its growth and financial sustainability.
- International expertise: Benefiting from global experiences with the participation of World Bank experts and health financing leaders from the region.
- Leadership participation: presence of advisors to the President of the Republic, leaders of the Ministry of Health, and international financing institutions.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki reviews the Authority’s strategy for the next five years
In the same context, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Care and Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, held a meeting to review the final draft of the Authority’s strategy for the next five years, which will be officially announced during the annual forum.
During the meeting, Al-Sabki reviewed the final version of the new strategy, which includes a comprehensive update to the procedural work guides, references for measuring performance, and defining responsibilities.
A series of workshops and expanded meetings were held to prepare this strategy, in which the authority’s leaders and work teams in various departments participated, in addition to the support and guidance of international experts, to build an integrated model for information management and link performance indicators to mechanisms for continuous development and improvement.
New performance indicators reflect commitment to governance and global standards
International experts confirmed that the new performance indicators of the healthcare authority are an advanced model that reflects commitment to global standards, and is a long-term path to developing the health system, including building human capabilities, digital transformation, and improving institutional performance.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki indicated that the next stage will witness a comprehensive development of the human capabilities of all work teams to implement the indicator system and integrate it into the systems of digital transformation and decision support within the authority.
