Guardians of the Earth raises standards of excellence: a new requirement to obtain its Sustainable Development Shield

In a new and pioneering step that consolidates its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with all seriousness and effectiveness, theThe Earth Guards Foundation announces the addition of a new condition for obtaining its Sustainable Development Shield. This condition comes after it signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, which reinforces the necessity for companies applying to win the shield to achieve the social dimension. Which confirms the keenness of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Land Protectors to ensure that the shield is only awarded to companies and institutions that truly deserve it.

Under the fourth clause of this protocol, companies applying to win the shield must appoint three breadwinners from families living below the poverty line to work for them.

With this step, Earth Guards confirms that excellence is not measured only by economic and environmental achievements, but also includes a commitment to supporting society and promoting social justice.

The Earth Guards Shield, which has become a symbolof societal responsibility, sustainable economy and environmental compatibility, was not – and will never be – within the reach of everyone, but rather is an inherent right only for companies that prove every day their profound contribution to achieving positive change on the ground.
