The 18th edition of the summit is the largest and most ambitious since the event began; Between January 13 and 15, 2026, Abu Dhabi will host the leaders of the global transition towards clean energy, innovation, and investment in one platform.
The event is expected to receive more than 55,000 visitors, in addition to 800 exhibitors, 400 international brands, 350 experts and speakers, in addition to 20 government partners, with 14 official international pavilions. A wide range of global institutions are participating in the event, most notably the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), along with hundreds of institutions and companies from various countries of the world.
When visions turn into implementation on the ground
This summit comes with the region’s desire to push the transition toclean energytowards unprecedented levels; The UAE announced an investment of $54 billion in clean energy before the end of the decade, and at COP28 it announced the allocation of $83 billion to finance clean technology, and an additional $30 billion through the Alterra Fund.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia has allocated $270 billion to promote renewable energy projects, in addition to a commitment to finance climate projects worth approximately $200 billion as part of Saudi Arabia’s growing green initiatives.
With this expansion in green investments, the 2026 Summit is focused on turning these major pledges into tangible solutions. Through exhibitions, conferences, and innovation centers, the World Future Energy Summit will bring together policymakers, investors, innovators, and industry leaders to open new partnerships, accelerate the deployment of technologies, and expand financing for clean energy projects.

The Summit will bring together leaders from governments and the energy, technology and finance sectors to drive the deployment of solutions on the ground, build partnerships that address the major challenges of our time, and harness the power of artificial intelligence and innovation to unleash scalable climate solutions.”
New paths reveal the features of the energy future in 2026
The 2026 edition also introduces a range of new specialist areas and tracks designed to highlight transformative technologies and growing opportunities in energy markets. The summit will witness the launch of the FUSE AI area for the first time, which is a unique exploratory space dedicated to applications of artificial intelligence in energy, smart cities, and enhancing resilience to climate change.
This new region was developed in response to the ambitions of Middle Eastern countries that are investing billions of dollars in huge data centers based on artificial intelligence and supporting infrastructure, as part of their efforts to enhance their capabilities within the Fourth Industrial Revolution and rapidly diversify their economies.
The summit also hosts its advanced entrepreneurship platform (The Greenhouse), which brings together more than 50 startups working in clean energy, mobility, water and climate technologies. This platform aims to connect startups directly with investors and major companies, as it is a new extension of the CLIX platform initiative, which is a forum for exchanging climate innovations that has always brought together the brightest minds around the world to confront the most pressing climate and environmental challenges.
The summit also launches a new experience entitled “Greenpeace Cinema”, in the first cooperation of its kind with Greenpeace in the Middle East and North Africa, to provide a creative space in which pressing environmental issues are presented through storytelling and strong visual impact.
The summit also witnesses the return of the Carbon Forward event, one of the most prominent platforms organized in conjunction with the World Future Energy Summit, after its success in Abu Dhabi last year. This event is one of the most prominent platforms that helps parties in the public and private sectors understand the risks and opportunities associated with climate change in a deeper and more practical way.
Conferences that shape the features of the new generation of energy
