Total Energy Marketing Egypt hosted a promising group of young engineers from Ain Shams University at the company’s oil and grease production plant. To provide a training awareness program on the nature and how this important industry works, and how it can be made more sustainable in the future, in a way that meets customers’ consumer expectations and supports their plans towards preserving the environment.

Because of the importance that Total attaches to this program, the factory manager himself was responsible for providing detailed explanations of the stages of manufacturing processes, and the precise quality control procedures that take place during them, while reviewing how to maintain production processes and improve their efficiency, in a way that ensures the lowest rates of energy consumption.

The program also included a tour of the company’s factory, to give students an overview of the size and nature of the work of the various equipment and systems, methods of controlling production processes, in addition to the followed occupational and environmental health and safety procedures.
