In sustainable development, the goals are collectively achieved by enhancing constructive cooperation and providing a climate of partnerships that can deepen sustainable development work among all segments of society. Therefore,The Earth Guards Foundation spares no effort to achieveSustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and spread awareness of their issues, and this is in accordance with the national agenda “Egypt Vision 2030”.
Therefore, the Foundation continues its tangible efforts and tireless work by launching its new visual series, the “Sustain” series of episodes; This is a series that opens a new dimension of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and this is by drawing inspiration from the essence of Islam, and affirming its humane view of everything that is sustainable and conservative.على موارد الأرض الواجب علينا تعميرها، وبما يسهم في تعزيز صحة الإنسان وبيئته.
So, the “Sustain” series of episodes highlights the clear compatibility in the essence of Islam with the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were approved by the United Nations in the modern era. This is because Islam has viewed man for more than 1,400 years as God’s successor on earth. He develops it and takes care of its resources, based on the verses of the Wise Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah of the Holy Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – so that these texts, in their comprehensiveness and universality, become a human covenant between all nations.
From here, each episode of the series – throughout the days of the holy month of Ramadan – will address one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as His Eminence Dr. Muhammad Abu Hashem – Professor of Hadith at Al-Azhar University, and Secretary of the Religious Committee in the House of Representatives – addresses dimensionsSustainable development and its goals, explaining with his insight and deep opinion what each of these goals does in activating the principle of building the earth. This is the general principle on which development work is based globally.
The Earth Guards Foundation is scheduled to resume production of this series after the end of the holy month. In order to examine more dimensions of sustainable development and explain its many aspects in a changing, even rapidly changing, world. This is nothing but a continuation of providing more awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which have become a local and global concern. Therefore, The Earth Guards Foundation supports these efforts and works to achieve these goals. So that the entire planet Earth becomes healthier and more sustainable for us and for future generations.
