Although she is still in the prime of her youth, Al-Batouti has been able to reserve a prominent position for herself in professional circles at the local and international levels. Thanks to her green contributions and her conscious and creative mind. From an academic standpoint, “Sarah” obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Cambridge__EG_PH_28in the United Kingdom, as well as a Master’s in Project Management in Remote and Dangerous Areas from the University of London, and a Master’s in Climate Policy, in addition to a fellowship at the Middle East Institute in Washington, and a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Cambridge Middle East.

As for the appreciations and achievements on the practical level, they include her being selected among the most influential African businesswomen in the field of social business. She is also the United Nations Global Ambassador for “Climate Change: High-Level Champions,” making her the first woman from the private sector in the Middle East and North Africa region to hold this role.
As for Sarah Al-Batouti’s contributions, they include establishing three environmentally friendly companies, receiving leading international awards in green buildings, designing products according to the principles of the circular economy, and being the first in the Middle East with a carbon-neutral project.
All of the above paved the way for Sarah Al-Batouti to occupy a number of high-ranking positions, including: member of the university board of directors, senior presidential advisor on climate change, and ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa region in the “Vital Voices” global partnership, which aims to enable Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
