Nour El-Zeini, a green life and a path of giving

In a few days, “International Women’s Day will come to us. This is an occasion that falls on the eighth of March every year, and is celebrated by the United Nations and UNICEF, in addition to a large number of countries and international institutions. To highlight the effective role of women insustainable development, and to support the empowerment of women and the promotion of their rights and protection in a way that ensures the fulfillment of the aspirations and hopes of half of society.

In this year’s celebration, “Earth Guards” participates by highlighting a group of the most prominent Egyptian female models, who were able to exceed the limits of societal expectations, to achieve many achievements on the scientific and practical levels; Therefore, we continue with you in these days – ahead of International Women’s Day – to learn about these honorable role models, in an effort by the magazine to inspire all women, support their empowerment, and highlight their role in achieving sustainable development, and today we are looking at the life of one of these models, namely: “Nour El-Zeini”.

Nour El-Zeini currently holds the position of Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility atSuez Canal Bank, and in the past she has held several key positions in a number of multinational companies, in Canada and Egypt: such as Regional Communications Director atRadio and Television Al-Arab (ART), for the benefit of the Middle East and North Africa region, in addition to marketing and financial consulting in Canadian financial consulting companies.

Al-Zeini also has thirty years of long experience in the fields of management, media, and marketing communications. During her tenure, she held several senior positions of a diverse nature. Al-Zeini has an active role in the field of public volunteer work, and is considered one of the experts in the field of sustainability and economic empowerment for women, youth, and people with special needs.

Through its ongoing cooperation with non-governmental organizations, Al-Zeini continues to encourage and support youth and women by providing volunteer workshops; To enhance entrepreneurship and leadership skills, in addition to confronting the challenges of youth and women in the media and ways to support them during their life’s journey. During the Corona virus pandemic, it provided 15 volunteer sessions for more than 20,000 young people and professionals. To support them in aspects of their work.

“Nour El-Zeini” holds a graduate degree in radio and television fromFaculty of Media at Cairo University, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Specialization in Accounting from the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University.

During her continuing career, Nour El-Zeini received more than 40 awards, was listed in the Wikipedia encyclopedia, defending women’s rights, was awarded the “Goodwill Ambassador” from the Bangladeshi Embassy in Cairo, and was chosen from among 50 influential women in Egypt. Nour was honored for her role in supporting the economic empowerment of women in Egypt from the Small Egyptian Businessmen Association. (EJB), and many other honors.
