Since the launch of the initiative in 2018, more than 183,000 neurosurgery operations have been performed, along with nearly 14,000 brain catheters, which reflects the development of health infrastructure in Egypt. These achievements are distributed among the hospitals of the Ministry of Health and affiliated agencies, including the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes, the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers, and the hospitals of the Health Care Authority.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki explained that what has been achieved in the field of neurosurgery within the Authority’s facilities represents a qualitative leap, thanks to the adoption of the world’s latest precision technologies, such as the use of neuroendoscopes and advanced surgical microscopes.
