In this context, the Minister reviewed what was achieved during the past year in the field of modernizing consular services, as the Ministry expanded in digitizingServices, and succeeded in reducing the time required to obtain passports and birth certificates, and increasing the number of legalization offices inside Egypt, in addition to launching the first phase of an interactive electronic platform for Egyptians abroad, which contributes to facilitating procedures, reducing time and effort, and keeping pace with the state’s trend towards digital transformation and developing government services.
