Based on this clear vision, the Ministry launched intensive efforts that included issuing more than 1.2 million integrated services cards, in addition to establishing 225 social rehabilitation offices geographically distributed in the governorates and villages most in need, with the aim of reaching the most vulnerable groups and ensuring that their needs are met effectively.

The Minister believes that the measure of the success of these efforts is not limited to the number of beneficiaries, but rather extends to enabling them to rely on themselves economically and socially, which is highlighted by the “Karama” program, which has become a practical model for this empowerment. More than 1.26 million individuals benefited from it, at an annual cost exceeding 9.8 billion pounds, thus reinforcing the ministry’s philosophy that focuses on comprehensive integration and the pursuit of social justice.

Dr. Maya Morsi did not stop at the boundaries of traditional care, but rather pushed towards establishing a productive environment for people with disabilities, through direct partnerships with the private sector, and by activating the role of the Ministry’s Employment Unit; During the past months alone, job opportunities were provided for about 19,800 people, within employment plans that keep pace with skills and capabilities.

The Ministry launched the national platform for services for persons with disabilities, “Ta’eel”, which represents a qualitative leap in providing employment and training services remotely, in coordination with the Ministries of Labor and Communications. It is a platform that combines artificial intelligence and digital analysis. In order to connect job seekers with the local market.

Women are changemakers

In the context of its ongoing efforts to enhance the role of women in executive leadership positions, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, participated in the personal interviews conducted by the National Training Academy for female applicants to join the second batch of the “Women Lead Executives” program.

In her speech during the “Women Can Change” event, Dr. Maya Morsi explained that true empowerment begins with the belief that women are not only half of society, but rather they are the ones who save the other half. Through her direct leadership of the Board of Directors, the bank launched a number of innovative programs, most notably the “My Nursery” program to support nurseries, and the “Tech Jobs” initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications, which aims to train and qualify young people in the fields of information technology.

The Minister’s vision extended to strengtheningCommunity Partnerships, as Nasser Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with Ahl Misr Hospital to treat burn victims, in a step that confirms that social justice is not limited to financial support for the breadwinner groups, but also includes providing care to the groups that suffer in silence. The Minister witnessed the signing of the agreement, which was attended by leaders from both sides, to unify efforts in supporting health care for the most vulnerable groups. In need.

The memorandum of understanding includes organizing awareness seminars on burn prevention and first aid, in a way that enhances community awareness and enhances the bank’s role as a development institution with a humanitarian dimension. Developing civil work to promote social justice

The Minister places the development of the capabilities of workers in civil society at the top of her priorities, considering that civil society organizations are an integral partner in development, and from here the Ministry launched the largest refresher training program for workers in association departments, with the aim of empowering them with the tools of governance, oversight, and digital transformation.

The training plan included 165 employees from various directorates, who were qualified to deal with the new civil work law, supervisory controls, and the comprehensive electronic system for associations. This is a step that reflects the Minister’s vision that digital transformation in this sector has become a necessity to ensure transparency and speed of achievement, and to achieve the highest rates of tangible societal impact.

Promoting citizenship values and practices

In a step that reflects the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s commitment to consolidating the values of citizenship and supporting community stability, the Ministry, in partnership with the Fund for Supporting Projects of Associations and Civil Institutions, organized the launch ceremony of the second phase of the “Promoting Citizenship Values and Practices” program in Minya Governorate.

The celebration included the signing of grant contracts with 12 associations and civil society organizations. Which enhances the ability of civil society to implement various development and cultural projects aimed at establishing the values of coexistence and mutual respect in 60 villages in Minya Governorate. This comes as a continuation of the success achieved by the first phase of the program since its launch in 2020, which contributed to enhancing social cohesion and achieving sustainable development with the effective participation of civil society institutions and relevant government agencies.
