Renewable energy is one of the pillars of achieving a safe and sustainable future. Because it plays a vital role in reducing dependence onfossil fuels, and mitigating the effects of climate change, especially with the increasing environmental and economic challenges facing the world in recent years. Therefore, it has become necessary to search for innovative solutions and sustainable ideas that ensure meeting current and future energy needs.
In this context, the government sector and the private sector are working to activate more strategies that accelerate the pace of transformation towards renewable energy. These efforts come in concert between the government and society. So that Egypt becomes more sustainable within the framework of its national vision “Egypt Vision 2030”.
Egypt Energy Exhibition 2024
Among those efforts that civil society organizations are working to implement - in governmental and international partnership - is the launch of the Egypt Energy Exhibition, which is considered a pivotal event in efforts to promote innovations in the energy sector. It is a conference whose activities extend from November 26 to 28 with a prominent presence from government agencies, leading energy companies, investors and specialists in this field, and those concerned with the ideas of green transformation and the use of renewable energy. This is sponsored by the ministries of: Electricity and Renewable Energy, Environment, Industry, Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation.
In this thirty-third session of the Egypt Energy Exhibition, participants will discuss the latest innovations in the energy field in Egypt and North Africa. To exchange knowledge, and search for the latest ways to achieve the transition towards green energy, while providing sustainable products represented in energy generators, storage systems and management programs, critical and reserve energy management, and solar energy.
Green Economy
The Egypt Energy Conference is a multi-partnership platform, and reflects Egypt’s firm commitment to providing an attractive investment environment in the energy sector, and its interest in placing the green economy at its top priority, with the conference - the Egypt Energy Conference - providing valuable opportunities to hold bilateral meetings between the public and private sectors. This allows communication with the most prominent workers in this sector, and work towards strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional center for renewable energy.
One of the goals of this Egyptian conference is that it seeks to make more efforts in the field of promoting advanced technology within the energy sector. For the sake of balance between development and environmental protection, which has a positive impact on the lives of citizens.
Women, Energy and Africa
The Egypt Energy Conference, with its history extending back more than thirty years, motivates energy leaders to make more efforts in this field, without which the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will not be achieved. Despite many of the features of the conference, this year it comes with the allocation of space to shed light on the role of women in the energy sector, as well as providing a round table for African business. To deepen the visions presented locally and in Africa, which creates good opportunities for communication and cooperation to achieve all the requirements ofsustainable developmentin the energy sector.
This distinguished edition of the Egypt Energy Exhibition comes in light of very precise global developments, which require long-term consideration and deep thinking regarding all projects of transition towards clean energy, as global investments in energy are moving towards unprecedented rates. The amount of these investments in 2024 will reach more than $3 trillion, with $2 trillion of it allocated to clean energy technologies and infrastructure.
It is worth noting that the Egypt Energy Exhibition includes more than 180 exhibitors from 25 countries, and is expected to attract about 10,000 visitors, and its activities will include a number of agreements to generate electricity from renewable energy, and the launch of huge projects related to the energy sector.

Emphasizing Egypt’s efforts and its pioneering role in implementing renewable energy projects, to be one of the exporters of renewable energy in the whole world.
