AI and youth empowerment take center stage at the Youth and Sports Workers Forum

Artificial intelligence and youth empowerment…the most prominent topics of the Youth and Sports Workers Forum
With the increasing reliance on modern technology in developing public policies, artificial intelligence and digital transformation are at the top of the youth and sports work agenda, as they are major tools for building human capabilities and raising the efficiency of institutions. In this context, the activities of the third edition of the Youth and Sports Workers Forum conclude today, presenting a practical model for integrating technology into managing the present and creating the future, through exchanging experiences and building cadres capable of keeping pace with changes.
The forum, which is held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and with the participation of 18 countries, confirms that investing in youth and empowering them digitally represents one of the paths to achieving sustainable development, through developing the youth and sports work system, and enhancingRegional and international cooperation, consistent with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and enhancing the role of youth as an active partner in development.
Supporting and empowering cadres working in the fields of youth and sports

The opening witnessed the presence of Mr. Alain Desire, Minister of Youth and Sports of Madagascar, Mr. Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, Minister of Youth and Sports of Iraq, Minister Plenipotentiary Faisal Ghassan, Director of the Department of Youth and Sports of the League of Arab States, Dr. Kamal Darwish, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and a number of ambassadors and leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
And duringIn his speech, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi welcomed all the ministers and ambassadors attending and all the participants in Egypt, stressing that the forum comes in implementation of the recommendations of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, issued during his meeting with the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports. The recommendations emphasized the necessity of activating the role of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministries and bilateral cooperation, and these recommendations have begun to be implemented so that we arrive today at the opening of the third edition of the forum.

Scientific methodologies and specific strategies
This year’s forum came within the framework of the state’s drive to support and empower cadres working in the fields of youth and sports, and to enhance local and international cooperation, through key sessions and specialized workshops, discussing issues of development, capacity building, institutional transformation, and impact making, with broad participation from a large elite ofOfficials, specialists, leaders, experts, representatives of local and international institutions, and an elite group of university professors.
Accordingly, the forum aims to advance workers in the ministries of youth and sports, by exchanging technical and administrative expertise, adopting scientific methodologies and specific strategies that raise the level of performance of workers in the youth and sports sectors, and striving to develop new ideas to implement distinct and different activities through this forum.
First Day Activities
On its first day, the Forum hosted a workshop entitled “Smart Alliances” headed by Dr. Ashraf Al-Maidani, Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for Leadership Development, which addressed the future of joint international strategies, and the role of the employee in decision-making and implementing ideas, through research and study of information in cooperation with international organizations to ensure their applicability, while reviewingQatar’s model in the field of sustainability.
The forum also witnessed a second workshop entitled “Methods of strengthening Afro-Arab partnerships in the field of youth and sports,” in the presence of Dr. Sayed Rashad Qarni. It focused on mechanisms for preparing successful projects in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, and methods of project management, and concluded with practical application by presenting implementable Afro-Arab initiatives in the field of youth and sports.
Artificial intelligence and future industry
On the second day, a workshop was held entitled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Support and Decision-Making,” moderated by Ghada Mohamed Amer, an artificial intelligence expert at the Information and Decision-Making Support Center at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, during which several topics were discussed, including: decision support and policy-making through the use of artificial intelligence, and techniques and developments that have occurred in artificial intelligence, and reviewed someFrom videos explaining advanced methods in using artificial intelligence, the workshop concluded with the importance of artificial intelligence in the modern era.
The workshop also presented practical examples and illustrative videos of advanced methods of using artificial intelligence, emphasizing its importance in the modern era as a strategic tool for enhancing the efficiency of institutions, and enabling young people to benefit from technology in the areas of youth and sports work and informed decision-making.

Strategic recommendations at the conclusion of the forum
In the last sessions of the Youth and Sports Workers Forum, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly and with the participation of 18 Arab countries, a set of strategic recommendations were put forward aimed at strengthening Arab youth and sports work, the most prominent of which are:
– Create a ruleUnified Arab data: Aiming to facilitate continuous communication and exchange of information and experiences between those working in the youth and sports sectors in the Arab countries.
– AdoptingArtificial Intelligence technologies: Recommending the necessity of using artificial intelligence to support decision-making, youth policy-making, and developing administrative and technical work methods to keep pace with global developments.
– Building the Arab human being: Focus on preparing qualified youth cadres capable of innovation, competition, and supporting state institutions in implementing major national projects.
– Strengthening identity and citizenship: Consolidating the values of belonging and patriotism through joint youth programs and activities among Arab countries.
– Facing challenges flexibly: Striving to develop practical and sustainable ideas and solutions to the current challenges facing the sectorYouth, while activating the role of ministries to maximize their societal contribution.
– International and regional cooperation: Strengthening the bonds of integration to implement joint projects that provide a supportive base for the policies of the Arab Ministries of Youth and Sports.
The Youth and Sports Workers Forum, in its third edition, confirms that integrating artificial intelligence and digital transformation into youth and sports work is a strategic path to build the capabilities of Arab cadres and enable youth to participate effectively in shaping the future.
