The meeting reviewed the increasing growth of Egyptian agricultural exports to the Turkish market, especially Egyptian dates, whichIts exports amounted to about $27.2 million, making Türkiye its third largest destination, in addition to corn, rice, onions, white beans, and strawberries.

For his part, Mr. Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, stressed that the rising growth of Egyptian agricultural exports to the Turkish market reflects the confidence of the Turkish side in the quality of Egyptian products, pointing to the endeavor during the next stage to double the volume of trade exchange and expand the base of mutual crops in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries.
