With the steps Egypt has accomplished in recent years at many levels, and the goals it has achievedsustainable development; The national path has become more consistent with the most important of these steps, which is building the Egyptian person economically, culturally, and socially. This is a step that the Egyptian government is looking at with great interest, and this is through the “Bedaya” initiative, the second edition of which was launched by the Prime Minister earlier last month - under the auspices of the President of the Republic - under the slogan “A new beginning for building humanity”.

This initiative comes as a national strategy through which Egypt seeks towards regional and global leadership in the field of improving human life, in terms of it being human capital in which all available efforts must be invested. So that we can achieve sustainability in all its forms.

It is an initiative that works to achieve the desired integration between all state institutions, as the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen has become the most important thing that the Egyptian government can consider, and this is what it has adopted through many axes, such as ensuring opportunities for decent work, culture, education, health, and sports; With a desire to build generations capable of facing the challenges of the future, and in an effort to build skills that serve the returns of the national economy, and to enhance national identity; Egypt will then have a more sustainable environment and society at all levels.

To achieve its objectives and achieve its objectives, the initiative relies on integrated coordination between the ministries and concerned authorities, and this is through an action program targeting human development and working to consolidate Egyptian identity. At the top of these relevant ministries are: the Ministry of Labour, Culture, Education, Health and Population, Social Solidarity, Youth and Sports, and other ministries. This is in accordance with what is required by national security, the national economy, and political stability.

As for the features of the programs established by the “Bedaya” initiative in all governorates of the Republic with a fair and comprehensive approach; They are:

• Providing new job opportunities and activating programs to develop skills, provided that this is compatible with the needs of the local and global labor market.
• Maximizing the role of cultural houses, such as the theater, and other cultural beacons, which can rebuild the Egyptian person, and summon his truth, which taught the world the meanings of civilization in its various sciences and arts.
• Developing educational curricula through specialized training programs. With these programs, we work to enhance and develop the skills of the teacher and learner. Based on the latest scientific findings of concepts and tools that help develop the education sector.
• Launching awareness campaigns, health programs, and treatment convoys in all governorates; In order to improve health services.
• Supporting sports activity and providing mechanisms to enhance it in all governorates of the Republic, especially in areas far from Cairo.

In conclusion, the “Bedaya” initiative has presented many achievements in various fields over the past days, and it is expected in the coming days to provide more efforts that contribute to enhancing the life of the Egyptian citizen. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), based on the concepts of development and construction, and based on the follow-up mechanisms that allow each governorate of the Republic to contribute to achieving this Egyptian humanitarian building; Until we achieve the desired goals, the most important of which is the life and sustainability of the Egyptian citizen.
