Journalist Hanan Moj, editor-in-chief ofHamat al-Earth Magazine said, “Spreading awareness of sustainable issues is the ultimate goal of Hamat al-Earth magazine.” Moj confirmed in a television interview with the distinguished journalist Tamer Amin in his “End of the Day” program, which is broadcast on Al-Nahar satellite channel, that the awareness role of the magazine Earth Guards does not stop at publishing specialized scientific articles by experts and senior researchers only, but also seeks to reach all segments of society, by simplifying environmental and scientific concepts that are frequently heard by the public and do not understand, such as sustainable development, waste recycling, and global warming… by presenting them in a series of simplified introductory episodes entitled “What does it mean?”, in a period not exceeding thirty seconds.
In her intervention, Moj stressed the role that the media must play in publicizing the importance of the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Conference, which Egypt will host next November. The editor-in-chief of Homat El-Earth thanked the channel for broadcasting the first introductory video in a series of episodes “What does mean?”, which is produced by the magazine and provides an awareness service on environmental issues, She said: These videos are shown on the magazine’s platforms at five o’clock in the evening every Thursday, with the aim of participating in raising awareness of environmental issues among the public, and out of the program’s belief in the importance of this role, the great journalist Tamer Amin promised that the program will display the new videos issued from this series successively.
