Opening of the Egyptian-African Economic Conference to discuss ways of cooperation under the patronage of the Prime Minister

Previously, the African continent was viewed as a poor continent that could not do without economic aid and could not participate in development processes. Today, the African continent has become an active partner in the global development movement, and in this context, Egypt is adopting a strategy to enhance Egyptian-African cooperation as it is the heart of the African continent and a confirmation of the Egyptian-African partnership that has existed throughout the ages.

Egyptian industrial expansion in Africa

Talking about economic integration and industrial expansion in Africa must include infrastructure development, and also requires an active and direct presence of Egyptian companies on African soil, through implementing joint projects and establishing industrial complexes.

It is also worth noting the necessity of Egypt exploiting a large proportion of its industrial potential in the continent of Africa, and enhancing the presence of companies operating in various sectors there. This effective presence helps companies interact directly with the local market, transfer Egyptian technology, and increase the efficiency and speed of distribution and export at the African level.

The existing joint projects have proven that Egyptian and African minds and hands are capable of implementing the most complex projects with international quality without relying on foreign companies.

Egyptian-African relations

In the same context, Ambassador Karim Sharif, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs, confirmed that Egyptian-African relations are witnessing unprecedented momentum, translated by mutual presidential and ministerial visits, the activation of joint committees, and the implementation of joint projects, stressing that Cairo has been working since assuming the presidency of the African Union in 2019 to consolidate the principle of “African solutions to African problems.”

In conclusion, the real battle to attract investments is a battle of awareness and correcting concepts, and a digital strategy must be adopted targeting African youth to facilitate their access to information about financing opportunities and development programs, which makes digital strategies a real bridge to achieve continental economic integration.Homat Al-Earth Foundationbelieves in the importance of the role that Egypt plays in achieving African economic integration and achieving comprehensive sustainable development in a way that ensures the achievement of its various dimensions towards a higher quality and more luxurious life.
