The truth is that since my childhood, I have been very interested in environmental issues, especially water and waste recycling. I see that the green color is a symbol of goodness, respect and love for the planet, and I am happy with the existence of a news and scientific magazine concerned with environmental issues and the protection of sustainability. We are in dire need of this type of media for various reasons, especially since the Corona crisis has taught us many things about life’s priorities and the importance of preserving the planet.

I also took my passion for this matterfrom my grandmother, who was interested in some scientific journals specialized in developments in healthy behaviors and medically and environmentally sound habits.

So how does the magazine“Earth Guards” meet Bushra’s ambitions to increase the potential of knowledge about climate, environment and sustainability issues on its pages?

The most important pages that I very much wish would be present in the issues of“Earth Guards” magazine are those that talk about the creative dimension, by adding a section concerned with artists who have a role in changing behaviors that are harmful to the environment, and transforming them into environmentally correct behaviors. For example, we have a group of artists who were able to benefit from waste that harms the environment; So they created works of art with it. This is done by recycling them through amazing creative means, which helps limit and reduce environmental pollution.

We have some artists who are very interested in this type of behavior, to the point that it has become a way of life for them. I think that we must search for role models that individuals should emulate in the field of environmental conservation, and display their experiences. If we tried to benefit from the bright aspects of the artist to be a model for youth and society, that would be much better than imitating poor and bad behaviors that harm generations.
